Meet The Specialists
Dr. Sarah Bartlett, Postdoctoral Clinician, received her Psy.D. at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, with an emphasis on children and adolescents. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at University of Iowa. Dr. Bartlett completed her predoctoral internship in the Adolescent Program at Eating Recovery Center – Insight Behavioral Health.
Dr. Bartlett has served as a therapist and has administrated psychological assessments to child, adolescent, and adult populations. She specializes in a variety of different clinical presentations, including attentional difficulties, anxiety, adjustment disorder, developmental disorders, disruptive behaviors, depression, eating disorders, mood disorders, school-related issues, and posttraumatic stress disorder. She also specializes in assessment for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), diagnostic clarification, learning difficulties, and social and emotional difficulties. Dr. Bartlett has a wide range of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in a variety of different settings, including community mental health facilities, forensic centers, therapeutic day schools, outpatient clinics, and intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs.
Dr. Bartlett takes a relational approach to therapy, in which she considers how the system and relationships are impacting the individual’s across all domains of functioning. She utilizes evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Acceptance and Commitment, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectic Behavioral, and Emotionally Focused Family therapies. She provides individualized feedback, clinical recommendations, and resources to individuals and families to assist them in effectively coping with emotions and adapting to environmental challenges. In her free time, Dr. Bartlett enjoys live music, traveling, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
